Download PdfThe Department of Food Technology, Engineering and Science teaches in all degrees offered by the School of Agrifood and Forestry Engineering and Veterinary Medicine (ETSEAFIV), besides the Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics (Faculty of Medicine) and Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Polytechnic School).
Subjects taught by FoodTech embrace fundamental fields for the Food industry, as Unit Operations, Food Technology and Engineering, Food Quality and Safety, Food Analysis, Nutrition and Dietetics, amongst other. To develop practical sessions, FoodTech counts on teaching labs on 2nd and 3rd floors of Building 2, and a complete Pilot Plant for Food Technology on the ground floor.
